The La Salle College High School Golf Team Won the 2010 Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District 12 Golf Championship on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at Island Green Country Club in Philadelphia. The Explorers collectively shot at 303 to claim the district title by 6 strokes over St. Joseph Prep, who had captured the Philadelphia Catholic League Title the week before.
P.J. Acierno finished second by a storke in individual scoring with a one-over-par 73 and was followed by teammate Jack Gregor who shot a 75 for third place.
By winning the district championship, La Salle has qualified to play in the PIAA East Regional Tournament on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at Golden Oaks Golf Club in Reading.
