Thompson was named a 1st Team All-State selection while scoring 11 goals during the playoff run. He finished his La Salle water polo career as the highest scoring player in the 7 year history of the program scoring 114 goals over the full season.

In addition to Thompson, Schultz, and McCrudden, senior Chris Catalino was also named to the Eastern Conference Select Team as a result of his terrific performance throughout the season.
