Senior Joe Mazzi '11 recorded 5 wins in the 135-pound weight class to set a new school record for career wins. He tallied victories 135, 136, 137, 138, and 139. The previous record of 134 career wins had been set by C.J. Burns '10 just last year.
Junior Matt Cimato '12 also recorded 5 wins in the 140-pound weight class and reached the 100 wins milestone. He tallied vistories 99, 100, 101, 102, and 103.
Other La Salle wrestlers who went 5-0 on the day were Casey Kent (152-pound weight class), Shane Springer (160-pound weight class), Roger Woehrle (125-pound weight class), and Nick Burns (171-pound weight class).
