Five Members of the La Salle College High School Indoor Track and FIeld team were named as All-State Performers at the PIAA State Championships Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Penn State University. The team placed 11th overall in the state, and invidiually all runners made significant contributions in the State Championships.
In the 3000 meter run, Thomas Trainer '11 finished in 2nd place with a school-record time of 8:35:45; the 2nd fastest time in the United States this year. The 4x800 Meter relay team of Andrew Stone '13, Chris Muggler '11, Tom Coyle '13, and Brendan Stone '11 placed 3rd in 7:57.00. Their time is the 7th fastest 4x800m time in the United States this year.
The team now will begin training for the outdoor season, which begins March 31st.
