The La Salle College High School Varsity Tennis Team defeated Saint Joseph's Prep 3-2 on May 1, 2012 at La Salle University to win the Catholic League Championship. The title is the 6th consecutive PCL Title for the program (2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, & 2012).

The Explorers also finish the 2011-12 season undefeated in Catholic League Play.


The team now advances to defend the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District 12 Title against the Philadelphia public league champion.
