Bob Peffle Named Soccer Coach of the Year by The Times Herald, Six Explorers Named to All-Area Team
The Explorers defeated Father Judge 3-0 on November 1, 2012 to win their 2nd straight Catholic League Championship and also won the PIAA District 12 City Championship for the 1st time in school history, advancing to the PIAA State Semifinals.

La Salle College High School Varsity Soccer Coach Bob Peffle was named The Times Herald Boys Soccer Coach of the Year and six players were also named to the 2012 Times Herald All-Area Team.
Jack Dusing '13 and Mark Grasela '13 were named First Team, Matt Lucas '14 and Chris McCrea '13 were named Second Team and Nick Higgins '13 and Andrew Schieve '13 received Honorable Mention.
Dusing and Grasela were also named Soccer Players of the Year by The Philadelphia Inquirer in December.
