La Salle captured its third consecutive Flyer's Cup Championship on Tuesday evening, March 12, 2013 with a 5-2 victory over Holy Ghost Prep at the Wells Fargo Center.

La Salle College High School captured its third consecutive Flyer's Cup Championship on Tuesday evening, March 12, 2013 with a 5-2 victory over Holy Ghost Prep at the Wells Fargo Center. In what was a rematch of last year's Flyer's Cup Championship, the Explorers once again prevailed.


La Salle was led by two goals from junior Andrew Romano '14, who was named MVP after scoring a tournament best six goals and eleven points. Romano was joined on the top line by senior Nick Master '13 and junior Kevin Charyszyn '14 who collectively produced 27 points in the three tournament games. Sophomore goalie Corbin Gustafson '15 allowed two early first period goals before stopping the next 22 shots and holding Holy Ghost Prep scoreless for the final 52 minutes. La Salle will play the winner of the Penguins Cup on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at IceWorks in Aston, PA for the Pennsylvania State Championship.
