The La Salle College High School Swimming Team earned its second straight Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) State Championship on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Bucknell University. The Explorers compiled 290 points, 72 more than second-place Hershey, to win the Class AAA Boys' Title at the PIAA Swimming and Diving Championship Meet.

La Salle posted a second-place finish and two third places in individual events during the second day of the state competition. Greg Brocato came in third in the 100-yard freestyle in 45.22 seconds, and Michael McBryan was third in the 100 breaststroke (56.12). Evan Holder nabbed a fourth in the 500 freestyle, touching up in 4 minutes, 31.37 seconds. The Explorers capped their day with a runner-up finish (3:04.73) in the 400 freestyle relay.

The La Salle Water Polo Team honored 1st Lt Travis Manion, USMC '99 in what has become a traditional service project for the team. Working with the Travis Manion Foundation, the team created 300 care packages for the troops stationed at Camp Manion in Iraq.
