Nick Master was selected 5th overall by the Cedar Rapids Roughriders. He is committed to play hockey at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, NCAA Division 1 for 2014.

Congratulations to La Salle College High School Senior Nick Master '13 for being selected 5th overall in the 2013 USHL Entry Draft by the Cedar Rapids Roughriders. The USHL is the top Junior hockey league in the United States.

Nick is committed to play hockey at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, NCAA Division 1 for 2014. Nick will join an impressive list of former explorers who are currently playing at the NCAA Division 1 level. (Adam Berkle-Bowling Green, Adam Schmidt-Holy Cross, Nick Cruice-Union, Gabe Antoni-Bentley, Ryan Tyson-UCONN, Connor Varley-Penn State, Terrence Wallin-UMASS Lowell, Drew Smolcynski-St. Lawrence).

Master scored six goals and had 20 assists in La Salle's 10 regular season games this season, helping the Explorers to their third consecutive Flyers Cup Championship.
