Explorers Win Philadelphia Catholic League and PIAA District 12 Championships in Lacrosse
The Explorers defeated St. Joseph's Prep 11-6 to win La Salle's 18 PCL Lacrosse Championships in the last 21 years. The Explorers then defeated Northeast High School 18-4 in the PIAA District 12 Championship for the "City" Title.

On Wednesday, May 22, 2013, the La Salle College High School Lacrosse Team defeated Saint Joseph's Prep at Plymouth-Whitemarsh Stadium by a score of 11-6 to repeat as Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) Champions. The win marked the 18th PCL Lacrosse Championship for the Explorers in the last 21 years.
The following day, Thursday, May 23, 2013, the Explorers defeated the Public League Champions from Northeast High School by a score of 18-4 to repeat as Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District 12 "City" Champions.
