Tony Mieczkowski '06 Named as Head Crew Coach

La Salle College High School Athletic Director Joseph Parisi announced today that the school has named Anthony Mieczkowski as La Salle's new head coach of rowing. A current teacher of science at La Salle and a graduate of the Class of 2006, Mieczkowksi was serving as the interim rowing coach for La Salle's fall season. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton where he rowed and also served as Head Coach of the Men's Rowing team. Mieczkowski has coached the JV and Freshman crew programs at La Salle. A resident of East Norriton, he has been active in ministry and service programs and is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Health Care Ethics and Policy at Saint Joseph University.

Joe Parisi added, "Tony has done an excellent job serving as our Interim Head Coach. His experience as a science teacher and a mentor for our students on service projects combined with his knowledge of his sport can only enhance his relationships with the members of our Crew program and help them reach new heights both on and away from the river."
