Schmidt, formerly played in the USHL, is now a senior at Holy Cross.

Former La Salle College High School Hockey Player Adam Schmidt was recently profiled by The Times Herald for his career success on and off the ice at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Schmidt credits his time at La Salle under Coach Wally Muehlbronner for his success on the ice in the USHL & Holy Cross.

“La Salle was awesome and coach Wally (Muehlbronner) was one of the best coaches I have had in all my years of playing hockey,” said Schmidt, who is from Warrington. “He really prepared us for the next level and there were several guys that went on to play Division I or Division III college hockey. We had a great team and playing with those guys and the caliber of hockey players they were really prepared me for the next level.”

The right wing heads into this weekend’s action with 39 career goals and needing one to move into 10th place on the Crusaders’ all-time list as a Division I entry.
