La Salle College High School will present four performances of 42nd Street, the Tony-award winning musical that opened on Broadway in 1980. The production boasts the talents of over 100 La Salle students along with 40 girls from surrounding area high schools, and promises to be an evening of high-enegy dance, great music and vocals, and all the glitz and costuming reminiscent of the glory days of the big Hollywood MGM musicals. The score, with lyrics by Al Durbin and music by Harry Warren, features "I Only Have Eyes for You," "We're in the Money," and "Lullaby of Broadway."
