La Salle was awarded a rating of Excellent, which was the highest rating at the competition, and was also named as Best Trumpet Section.

The Jazz Band received top accolades at the Upper Moreland Jazz Competition, held on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Upper Moreland High School. La Salle College High School was awared a rating of Excellent, which was the highest rating at the competition, and was also named as Best Trumpet Section.
In addition, the trumpet section was selected to perform at the 39th Annual Conference of the International Trumpet Guild, which will be held May 20 - 24, 2014 at the Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of Prussia, PA. La Salle College High School was the only high school in America selected to perform a prelude at this conference as the other twenty-seven trumpet ensembles are from either a college or university. La Salle will open for Bravo Brass and perform on the opening day of the conference.
