Swim Team Wins Third Consecutive PIAA Swimming State Championship
The Explorers also set a PA state record in the 200 Medley Relay.

The La Salle College High School Swimming Team won their 3rd consecutive PIAA AAA Swimming State Championship on Thursday, March 13, 2014 at Bucknell University.

The Explorers relay team of Kyle Shurmur, Michael McBryan, Greg Brocato and Nick Stachel set a PA state record in the 200 Medley Relay at 1:30.26. La Salle also won the 200 Freestyle Relay, and placed 2nd in 400 Freestyle Relay. The team also placed top 3 in various individual events through out the two day championship meet.

The PIAA AAA Swimming Championships will air on tape-delay: Day 1 of the AAA championships will air Friday, March 14th at 9:45 pm. Day 2 will air on PCN Saturday, March 15th at 4:45 PM. For the full TV Schedule, visit the PCN Web Site.

The Explorers had already won their 26th consecutive Philadelphia Catholic League Championship this season as well.

The La Salle Water Polo Team honored 1st Lt Travis Manion, USMC '99 in what has become a traditional service project for the team. Working with the Travis Manion Foundation, the team created 300 care packages for the troops stationed at Camp Manion in Iraq.
