La Salle Rugby to Participate in High School Rugby Championships
The High School Rugby Championship will be played at the University of Pennsylvania with the final held at PPL Park during the college tournament.

A group of La Salle rugby players will represent La Salle in this year’s High School Rugby Championship, which runs alongside the national college tournament May 31 to June 2, 2014.
Both CRCs and HSRCs are Rugby Sevens tournaments. Sevens is a 7 on 7 version of the game that takes place on the same size field, which creates non-stop action where speed, high scoring and athleticism create an exciting game. Sevens will be an Olympic sport in 2016.
The Collegiate Rugby Championship is Philadelphia’s newest marquis event, bringing top universities from across the USA to compete in 47 games of non-stop, exciting action on live, national television. The 2014 Championship will be the biggest yet, with the expansion to 20 total teams, including 6 regional schools: Temple, Penn, Penn State, St. Joe’s, Kutztown, and Drexel.
The High School Rugby Championship will be played at the University of Pennsylvania with the final held at PPL Park during the college tournament. HSRC will include over 70 high school teams from all over the country.
