Over 60 students enrolled in La Salle College High School Technology Courses received Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) Certifications during the 2013-14 School Year.

Students enrolled in Advanced Multimedia Production, Multimedia Production and Introduction to Web Design were all able to take certfication tests as part of the course curriculum for the 1st time at La Salle.

The Adobe Certified Associate Certification is an entry-level certification aimed at validating communication skills using a particular digital medium such as Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and Adobe Photoshop CS6.

An individual with the ACA is armed with the credentials to get summer internships, a first job out of school, or credit for college-level programs in design, web, or rich media.

The Certification process is available to our students here on campus through our partnership with Certiport. This relationship with Certiport has designated La Salle as a certified testing center – a rare designation for a high school.  Our Microsoft IT Academy has already certified many students through this relationship – now our Multimedia Students will have the same certification opportunity.
