Spanish Club Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Mass at Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter and Paul
The annual event draws approximately 1,000 of the region's faithful to celebrate Hispanic Heritage in the Philadelphia area.

On Sunday October 12, 2014,  students from the La Salle College High School Spanish Club were part of the procession and Hispanic Heritage Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of SS Peter and Paul. The celebrant and homilist was Reverend Jorge de los Santos from the Archdiocese of Denver, Colorado.

The annual event draws approximately 1,000 of the region’s faithful to celebrate Hispanic Heritage in the Philadelphia area. It opens with an entrance procession of the flags and banners of patron saints of the twenty countries with historic Hispanic heritage, as well as the United States. Many of the participants of the Mass dress in the traditional attire of their countries of origin or heritage.
