Kyle Shurmur '15 Selected for Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl
The senior quarterback was selected to participate in the All-American game played in Southern California in January.

Kyle Shurmur, a senior quarterback at La Salle College High School, was selected for the 2015 Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl, which will be played on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at the StubHub Center in Carson, CA and will feature the nation's brightest and best high school football players. Kyle is one of 45 players chosen to represent the East Coast in the East-West showdown which is sponsored by the United States Marine Corps and will be broadcasted live on Fox Sports 1.

The United States Marine Corps only selects the brightest and best to join its ranks, just like the players selected for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. The Marine Corps partners with a third-party recruiting professional to select elite high-school athletes for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. In addition to being among the top-rated football players in the nation, the selection process is also dedicated to choosing players based on their character, academic performance, and leadership. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl demonstrates the Marine Corps' commitment to developing quality citizens and reinforces core values of honor, courage, and commitment. The Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl offers an opportunity for quality players, coaches, and Marines to meet, practice, and work together to teach skills important on and off the field, such as leadership, self-confidence, and teamwork.
