Explorers to Compete in Five Events at 2015 Penn Relays
The Penn Relays will take place April 23-25 at the University of Pennsylvania.

The La Salle College High School Track & Field Team will compete in 5 events at this weekend's 121st Penn Relays (April 23-25). The team will run in 3 relays and compete in 2 individual events. The competitors will be:
4x800 (Friday at 9:50am): Patrick Grant, Brendan Price, Michael Phayre, Stefan Sutton
4x100 (Friday at 11:35am): Tabriz Bumpas, Winston Eubanks, Chris Della Donna, Charles Headen
Javelin Championship (Friday at 2:45pm): Grant Jones
Pole Vault Championship (Saturday at 10:00am): Eddie Eason
4x400 (Saturday at 1:00pm): pool – Tabriz Bumpas, Peter Nelson, Patrick Grant, Stefan Sutton, Zack Beavers, Sean Fitzpatrick
4x100 Championship (Qualifiers, Saturday at 1:55pm)
4x800 Championship of America (Qualifiers, Saturday at 4:00pm)
The team enters the Penn Relays with good momentum from the last week. At last weekend's CB West Relays, the Sprint Medley of Tabriz Bumpas, Chris Della Donna, Stefan Sutton, and Patrick Grant set a new school record and ran a US#8 time of 3:31.62. They were joined as event winners at CB West by the Javelin relay of Grant Jones and Noah Walker, the Pole Vault Relay of Eddie Eason and Jeff Beatty, and the Long Jump relay of Alex Sislo and Tre McNeill. Eason then set a new school record of 14'6.5" in PCL Meet #4 on Monday at La Salle.
Following the Penn Relays the team has their final home meet on Monday with PCL Meet #5, and then their final invitational next Friday at West Chester Henderson before entering the Championship season.
