Tennis Team Wins 9th Consecutive Philadelphia Catholic League Championship

The La Salle College High School Varsity Tennis Team defeated Saint Joseph's Prep 3-2 on May 4, 2015 at La Salle University to win the Philadelphia Catholic League (PCL) Championship. The title is the 9th consecutive PCL Tennis Title for the program (2007-2015).

The Explorers also finish the 2014-15 season undefeated in Catholic League play.

The team advances to defend the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District 12 Title against the Philadelphia Public League Champion Central High School.

The Explorers defeated Public League Champion Central High School 4-1 to win the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association (PIAA) District 12 - City Championship - (Full Article at http://www.lschs.org/page.cfm?p=1706&newsid=4721)

With the team win, the Explorers advance to the PIAA State Team Playoffs for the 6th straight season. They will play the #4 seed from District 1 Radnor High School at 12:00pm on Tuesday, May 12th at the Legacy Youth Tennis and Education Center (formerly Arthur Ashe) in East Falls.
