The Explorer soccer team is coming off their PCL championship run along with the District 12 championship. La Salle will open the season on September 2nd versus Central High School.
The La Salle team will have 14 returning varsity players. With these players returning, La Salle will look to repeat as PCL Champions. According to Head Coach Tom McCaffery La Salle will find their success through "staying motivated and recognizing that everyone will be giving us their best effort after we went undefeated in PCL play last season."
The season will not be an easy one as this season is shaping up to be another challenging in conference play. The PCL rematch will against Roman Catholic on September 29th. La Salle will also be challenged by many tough out of league conference games throughout the season.
"If the guys continue to put in the hard work and preparation, we will be right in the mix for another championship run." La Salle will try and build off the tough out of conference schedule to help them get ready for not only the back end of conference play which can help them find success in the Catholic League playoffs.
