Funding For Projects Exceeds $7.15 Million

Pledges totaling over $7.15 million to our facilities fundraising effort - For The Explorers, For The Future, For La Salle - have been secured, accomplishing 95% of our goal. The generosity of our alumni, parents, and that of many others allows us to forge ahead with the second of our three capital projects. We will break ground on the Glaser Student Center in early October. The initial construction will entail the excavation of the ground behind the auditorium, preparing it to become the new outdoor student recreational area. Construction of the atrium extension to the cafeteria will follow. Interior work will commence around Easter,

Having secured the funding for the Glaser Student Center, our final attention turns to the Flannery Field project – including a new turf field, track, lighting, and increased stadium seating. With approximately $350,000 more to raise, we have launched a series of Alumni Class Appeals and, most importantly, ones directed to our track and field, football, and lacrosse alumni. Since this project is still funding dependent, we have not set a definitive construction date.
