La Salle Announces Sign-Ups for Junior Concussion Testing

Concussion Testing Schedule Announced for Class of 2019

La Salle schedules baseline concussion testing for all students prior to ninth grade and prior to eleventh grade. This one-hour computer-based testing has proved extremely useful when injuries occur, whether on- or off-campus for students. The testing is supervised by Mr. David Crowe, our athletic trainer, and Mr. Jason Eisele, our Assistant Athletic Director. Once completed, the testing is securely stored by our athletic administrators at La Salle and is available digitally for transmission by Mr. Crowe or Mrs. Ciccimaro, the school nurse, to medical personnel authorized by parents. It is offered completely free of charges.

Members of the Class of 2021 (incoming freshmen) will undergo the testing as part of their introductory computer tablet sessions at other times in August and should not use this form for sign-up.

All members of the Class of 2019 (Juniors) need to complete computer-based baseline concussion testing prior to the start of the school year. Participants in Fall sports will complete this testing as part of their pre-season workouts and do not need to sign up separately. All other juniors must sign up for a testing session during the week before Labor Day during the available times below.
