Back by popular demand, La Salle College High School will be performing the outrageously funny and incredibly creative five-time Tony Award Winning Musical, The Drowsy Chaperone,

from Thursday March 22, 2018 through Sunday, March 25, 2018.

La Salle first performed The Drowsy Chaperone in 2011 on the heels of its successful Broadway run, garnering an overwhelmingly positive audience response which supported our moving the direction of La Salle's theater program to where we are today. Since that time, the show has grown immensely in popularity, but still remains one of the hallmarks of creative musical comedy genius.

The Drowsy Chaperone is a musical with a book by Bob Martinand music by Don McKellarand and lyrics by Lisa Lambertand & Greg Morrison. It is a parody of American musical comedy of the 1920s. The story concerns a middle-aged, asocial musical theatre fan; as he plays the record of his favorite musical, the (fictional) 1928 hit The Drowsy Chaperone, the show comes to life onstage as he wryly comments on the music, story, and actors.

Auditions will be held in early December. Please check www.lschs.org/Theater for more information in early November.

We would also like to announce that work is under way to migrate our ticketing away from our current general admission system to one which will give our patrons the to pick and reserve specific seats for their performance. More information regarding this move will be available in the fall.
