The La Salle College High School Wresting Team lost their 5 opening matches this past weekend, losing to Neshaminy, East Stroudsburg South Stroudsburg, Freedom, and Southern Lehigh.

With football still in season and SAT's on Saturday morning, the Explorers had 7 varsity wrestlers this past weekend causing them to have multiple forfeits, which caused for them to lose all 5 matches. The team was tied with Southern Lehigh in the final bout of the evening with a handful of new wrestlers stepping up and wrestling varsity.

Sadly the explorers lost on the 7th criteria, near fall points, causing them to drop the final duel to Southern Lehigh.

Some highlights of the day though, as Matt Needleman '18 and Luke Ratchford '17 each went 4-1 on the day, both recording multiple pins. Marcel Gleaves '17 and Michael McLaren '16 went 3-2 on the day as well recording multiple pins.
