Poor Man's Supper

Poor Man's Supper
The annual event raised record funds for Face to Face.

La Salle College High School hosted a Poor Man's Supper on Thursday, March 10, 2016 in the school's cafeteria. Each attendee made a $10 donation and was able to select a ceramic bowl that was produced and handcrafted by a student in the Art Department as a remembrance of the less fortunate people in our area who are suffering from hunger. La Salle provided a simple meal – soup, bread, drinks, and dessert – along with wonderful companionship for all who attended. Now in its 7th year, the event drew its largest attendance ever and was able to provide its largest donation to Face to Face, which is located in the Germantown section of Philadelphia. The event was made possible through the organizational efforts of Mrs. Barbara Miller (Art Department) and Joe Cuce '16.
