Varsity Tennis Team Advances to Catholic League Championship

The PCL Championship will be held Monday, May 2nd at 3:00pm at Chestnut Hill College vs Saint Joseph's Prep.

The La Salle College High School Varsity Tennis Team (11-2) defeated Roman Catholic 5-0 on Wednesday, April 27th to advance to the Philadelphia Catholic League Championship this Monday, May 2nd at 3:00pm at Chestnut Hill College vs Saint Joseph's Prep.

The Explorers are led by sophomore Andrew Lutschaunig, and seniors Jared Bunch, Luke DeAngelis, Michael DeAngelis, Russell Newell, Hugh Farris, and Matt Bahr.

The La Salle Tennis Team has won nine consecutive PCL Tennis Titles and five straight Philadelphia City/District 12 Championships. The team has made it to the PIAA State Playoffs for the past five years. The Explorers have been undefeated in regular season Catholic League play for the past 14 years.
