The La Salle Explorer football program consists of the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Freshman football teams. All three teams mainly compete against other PCL teams and a few teams from other leagues. The three teams typically practice from Monday to Friday with games on the weekends and workouts in the weight room throughout the week. There are also off-season workouts to participate in in the summer. For more information on the LaSalle Football program contact the Head Coach John Steinmetz at steinmetzj@lschs.org

Two coaches, three players, and an entire program were inducted into the school's Hall of Athletics.
Construction is on schedule and the project will be complete during the 2018 Fall Sports Season.

LB Zaire Franklin '14 drafted by the Indianapolis Colts and P Ryan Winslow '13 signed by the Chicago Bears.
Gordon was previously inducted into the LSCHS Hall of Athletics in 2013.
Two soccer players and eleven football players (joining six football players who signed in December) and their families and coaches participated in the event.
The students gathered together in the auditorium on Wednesday, Decemeber 20th.
The Explorers will face Roman Catholic in the PIAA/PCL Playoffs on 11/4 7 PM at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School.
The Award is given to the college defensive player in the nation who makes the biggest IMPACT on their team both on and off the field. IMPACT is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
There are currently 24 Explorers playing College Football this season.

Spencer Patton '17 and Syaire Madden '17 officially signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, February 1st on National Signing Day.
Carolina Panthers defensive coordinator Sean McDermott '93 was named head coach of the Buffalo Bills on Wednesday.
Running Back Syaire Madden '17 was also named Catholic League Red Division MVP.
The 2016 season kicks off for the defending PCL Champions on Friday, August 26th vs North Penn.
Eight members of the Class of 2016 signed national letters of intent.
La Salle will face Parkland HS on Saturday, December 5th at 1:00 PM at Northeast High School in State Quarterfinal.
The Explorers win their 7th PCL Championship in the past 10 seasons.
Explorers will face Saint Joseph's Prep on Saturday, November 21st at 1 PM at Plymouth-Whitemarsh High School.
Head Coach John Steinmetz '77 also Named PCL Coach of the Year
He has been an assistant coach at the school for thirty-five years.
