2007 La Salle Swim Team Christmas Service Project

The 2007 La Salle Swim Team performed its first service project as a team. The team adopted a needy family from the Kensington section of Philadelphia. Based on the family's Christmas wishlist, the team donated money and went shopping. They purchased winter clothing, necessities, a Christmas Tree, decorations, and food for a Christmas Dinner. Using a donated computer from St. Helena in Blue Bell, the team rebuilt a computer and gave the family their biggest Christmas wish - a computer/printer for the children to use for school. It was a great team effort! Merry Christmas!
