Important Information on Cafeteria, Library, and Additional Study Areas
Cafeteria Closure and Relocation
The cafeteria will be closed and unavailable starting Monday, May 1. The auditorium will function as a cafeteria for the remainder of the school year. Kitchen staff will continue to prepare food for students to purchase. Sufficient seating will be available.
Decreased Library Availability
The Library will be used daily for AP testing. Students will have access to the library for only half of the school day. The library will be available until 7:45 AM every morning and after 3:15 PM each day regardless of the testing schedule. The AM or PM availability schedule will be posted on the Library door and the portal.
Additional Study Areas for Students
Rooms 31A and 31B will be available throughout the day for quiet study beginning on Monday, May 1. In addition to rooms 31A and 31B, students may use the benches in front of school, The Whalen Courtyard, and The Class of 1951 Courtyard to study, do homework, or have some downtime. Picnic tables will be set up for student use in The Class of 1951 Courtyard and available to students during lunch and free periods. Additional benches will also be available in front of school near the main entrance. Resource rooms and other student areas remain available.
