La Salle College High School Seeks Teachers of Mathematics, Secondary, College Preparatory
La Salle College High School seeks two teachers of Mathematics beginning with the 2017-2018 academic year. Candidates are required to have strong undergraduate and/or graduate preparation in mathematics. Ideal candidates will have the ability and potential to teach at all levels of the curriculum, from Algebra to Calculus, from introductory courses to honors and Advanced Placement courses. Candidates need to have the ability to integrate appropriate digital technologies and enthusiasm to explore new applications of technology to the teaching of mathematics. A willingness to share and develop talents through co-curricular areas, such as coaching, sponsorship of activities and participation in service activities is important.
The course load is five sections of Mathematics, collaborative work with department members and the department chair in the development of curricula and assessments. The candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and to the full mission of the school.
