Paul Colistra '00 Appointed President at West Catholic

Paul Colistra '00 will succeed Brother Richard Kestler, FSC '60 as President of West Catholic.


Mr. Christopher Mominey, Secretary of Education for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, has appointed La Salle alumnus Paul Colistra, Class of 2000, President of West Catholic, succeeding the retiring Brother Richard Kestler, FSC '60 in July. Prior to serving as the head of West Catholic's advancement program, Paul worked for several years in that office at his alma mater. The son of History and Economics teacher Joe Colistra '64, Paul will be the fifth president of West Catholic and the first lay chief administrator in that archdiocesan school's 100 year history. La Salle College High School wishes Paul every success in his new role in educational service to the people of University City, West, and Southwest Philadelphia.
