La Salle College High School Teachers of Spanish Language, Other Languages.

La Salle College High School seeks two teachers of Spanish beginning with the 2017-2018 academic year. Preferred candidates will have an academic background in the discipline, experience in the teaching of world languages in a school or related field. Preference given to candidates who have capabilities in both Spanish and another language, such as Arabic, French, or Latin. Candidates need to have the ability to integrate appropriate digital technologies and enthusiasm to explore new applications of technology to the teaching of world languages and culture. A willingness to share and develop talents through co-curricular areas, such as coaching, sponsorship of activities and participation in service activities is important.

The successful candidates for these position will be fluent in Spanish. The course load is five combined sections of World Language and, including work with department members and the department chair in the development of curricula and assessments. The candidate will also demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development and to the full mission of the school.
