Office of Information Technology Overview
Technology at La Salle College High School is centered around:
- a curricular program based on industry certification
- award-winning extracurricular programs for student experiential learning
- one of the most sophisticated computer networks available in secondary education today
Curriculum and Certification
From a curricular standpoint, the Information Sciences and Technology Department provides students with hands-on, experiential learning. La Salle has been selected as global model for Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) Certification. La Salle is currently offering certifications for Microsoft Office and Adobe Creatve Suite to its already robust curricular offerings.

Real World Experience
The hallmark of the Technology program at La Salle is the team approach to student involvement. The award-winning Student Lab Manager Program features students working side-by-side with the full-time staff members as administrators on the school network in a tiered structure of rights and responsibilities. The WEXP TV Studio and the Student Web Manager Program are base don this model and are similarly dependent on the involvement of motivated, depndable, and trust-worthy students.
Cutting Edge Technology
La Salle works with Microsoft to test emerging technologies through participation in the Technology Adoption Program (TAP). La Salle is the only high school and one of two educational institutions worldwide in Microsoft TAP.
