Student Council Executive Officer elections were held at La Salle College High School on Thursday, May 3 and Friday, May 4, 2012 to select the leaders of student government for the 2012-13 school year.
The Student Council Executive Officers for the 2012-13 school year are Andrew Carlone '13 (President), Preston Murray '13 (Vice President), & Mike Eife '13 (Secretary).
The primary elections on Thursday included 5 parties from the current Junior class. On Friday, the two tickets with the highest number of votes campaigned outside of the school entrance and had their campaign speeches shown on the WEXP morning show prior to the student body voting in Homeroom.
The Student Government Association or "Student Council" is comprised of a three member Executive Board, Class Officers, Class Senators, and Faculty Moderators. The Student Council, under the direction of the Student Body President, Vice President, and Secretary oversees the individual class councils and coordinates all council activities.
Class Officers and Senators will be elected in the coming weeks.
