Seven Baseball Players Named To All-Catholic Team, Catcher Corey Baiada '12 Named League MVP
Seven Players from the La Salle College High School Varsity Baseball Team have been named to the 2012 All-Catholic Team.
Infielder Colin Pyne, outfielder Tyler Kozeniewski, Catcher Corey Baiada, and Pitcher Kevin Long were named to the All-Catholic Red Division First-Team. 1st Baseman Chris Melillo, infielder Mike Piscopo, and Pitcher Dom Cuoci were named to the All-Catholic Red Division Second Team.
Baiada was also named the Catholic League Red Division Most Valuable Player.

In addition to the seven All-Catholic selections, Head Coach Mr. Joe Parisi was named the Coach of the Year in the Catholic League Red Division. Parisi also picked up his 400th career win earlier this season.
The Varsity Baseball Team finished the regular season undefeated (12-0) in Catholic League Red Division play and clinched the number one seed in the playoffs. The squad will host the Catholic League Quarterfinals on Ward Field at La Salle on Tuesday, May 22, 2012.
