The La Salle College High School Varsity Baseball Team defeated Public League Champion Frankford High School 14-1 in six innings to win the 1st PIAA AAAA District 12 City Championship in school history.
The Explorers now move on to the first round of the PIAA Baseball Championships on Monday, June 4, 2012 versus Upper Dublin High School at 1:00 pm at Temple University’s Ambler Campus.
The Varsity Baseball Team finished the regular season undefeated (12-0) in Catholic League Red Division play and their overall season record improves to 20-3. Seven Explorers were also named to the All-Catholic Team this season.
