La Salle College High School juniors Tom Coyle '13 and Andrew Stone '13 capped an amazing 2011-12 year by both breaking the school record in the 800m at the PA Distance Festival at West Chester Henderson High School on Saturday, June 9, 2012.
Coyle placed 2nd in 1:51.78 and Stone finished 3rd in 1:52.35. This marks the third school record for Coyle during the Outdoor Track and Field season (in addition to the the Mile record he broke during the Indoor Track season), and the third time that Stone has run faster than the school record from the beginning of the season which had stood since 1983!
