The Class of 2016 consists of 273 young men, coming to La Salle from 92 different schools across the Delaware Valley. 31 members of the incoming Class of 2016 are merit-based scholarship winners.
Students were welcomed to La Salle by President Brother James Butler and Principal Mr. Michael O'Toole as the La Salle Band greeted the students outside of the main entrance. Brother James and Mr. O'Toole both began their tenures on July 1, 2012.
During Thursday's Freshmen Orientation, the students learned about La Salle College High School and St. John Baptist de La Salle through various presentations throughout the day with the La Salle administration, faculty and student council. The Class of 2016 also planted a tree on campus and were joined by their parents for dinner in the cafeteria to close out the evening.
The 2012-13 School Year will start for all students on Tuesday, September 4th.
