The La Salle College High School Water Polo Team, the #1 seed in the tournament, won the Eastern Conference Championship on Saturday evening October 20, 2012 at Souderton High School.
The team first defeated Souderton in a close 10-9 victory, then went on to defeat # 2 seed Governor Mifflin 14-7. This is the first conference championship for the Explorers since joining the PIAA five years ago.
The team heads to the State Championship at North Penn on November 2nd and 3rd.
