Chez Angeloni '05 was signed as a free agent by the Boston Red Sox.
Angeloni, a 6'3" right handed pitcher from Jenkintown, played four years at Johns Hopkins University. During his Senior year, Angeloni led the Blue Jays to their 10th overall and 3rd consecutive Centennial Conference Title while advancing to the NCAA South Regional Tournament finals.
In his junior year, Angeloni was named the Most Outstanding Player of the College World Series after throwing two complete games in the Division III National Championship and handing Trinity College its only loss of the season in the opening game. During the season, Angeloni was also named Centennial Conference Baseball Pitcher of the Week while helping Johns Hopkins to their best ever record 42-8.
