Applying to La Salle

Thank you for your interest in La Salle College High School. Each year La Salle admits approximately 260 qualified young men into our freshmen class. Our Scholarship/Entrance Exam will be held on Saturday December 1, 2012. All 8th Grade students applying to La Salle are required to take this exam. All candidates seeking admission to La Salle are reviewed based on the following:

• Completed Application (Print or Online)
   
• Score on Scholarship/Entrance Exam
   
• Transcript – Academic Performance in the 7th & 8th grades
   
• Recommendations from Teacher/Counselor
   
• Most Recent Standardized Test Score (Terra Nova or PSSA)
   
• Essay on "Why you want to attend La Salle", please include any community service & extra curricular Involvement

All necessary materials should be received in the Admissions Office by mid-December.  After a full review by the admissions committee decisions on acceptance to La Salle will be mailed by the second week of January. A second round of acceptances are sent out in the beginning of February. By the end of our three registration evenings in Mid-February La Salle's freshman class is usually full.
