Annual Fundraising Initiatives
In order to uphold the mission of St. John Baptist De La Salle, we rely on the generosity of our extended community to fund various initiatives, as well as to provide need-based financial aid and merit-based scholarships. Gifts to La Salle, whether current or deferred, large or small, help to ensure that the tradition of a Lasallian education can remain strong, and that all qualified students are able to pursue a secondary school education here regardless of their ethnic, religious, or socio-economic backgrounds.
De La Salle Alumni Annual Fund - Used mostly for financial aid and scholarships, gifts to the De La Salle Annual Fund help ensure that all qualified students are able to attend La Salle. Being an unrestricted fund, contributions also help towards service programs, technology programs, music programs, athletics, and utilities.
Parent Annual Fund - The Parent Annual Fund provides funding for Professional Development, which allows our faculty and staff to pursue post-graduate degrees and certifications. This fund benefits not only the members of our faculty and staff, but the entire school, as it allows our men and women to continue to expand their knowledge, and to stay current and informed in their field of study.
Grandparent Annual Fund - Also designated for Professional Development, the generosity of our Grandparents further provides our faculty and staff with the opportunity for continuing education.
Faculty/Staff Annual Fund - The Faculty/Staff Annual Fund was established to help support the Student Emergency Fund, which provides funding for students who may find themselves unable to pay for incidentals such as textbooks, lunch, transportation, class trips, or some other expense deemed necessary for the good of the student’s educational experience. Thanks to this fund, all students have access to the resources necessary to be a success at La Salle.
Memorial Gifts - Memorial Gifts are contributions made in honor or in memory of a deceased alumni, parent, faculty/staff member, or friend of La Salle. The gifts made help us uphold our mission of a Lasallian education.
Scholarship Funds - These funds are endowment funds that have been established to provide financial assistance in perpetuity to students who wish to attend La Salle College High School. In most instances, the individuals who established these funds outlined specific criteria for disbursing the annual interest earnings on the funds. These funds have been established by alumni, parents, and friends of the school.
