Assistant Coach - Will Phillips
Will Phillips is returning to LaSalle as the assistant bowling coach a year after a stint as the interim head coach. A member of the class of 2006, Will was a 4-year varsity starter on the bowling team, including spending the final 3 years as team captain. He was also named to the 1st-team Philadelphia All-Catholic Bowling team three times. He has bowled over 15 300 games and has won many tournaments throughout the area. Will was also the starting shortstop for La Salle’s 2005 PCL Championship team. He is a graduate of Villanova University. Will resides in East Norriton.

The 2012 - 2013 marks the first year of Coach McDowell being with La Salle. Coach McDowell spent the previous 7 years coaching Kennedy-Kenrick and Pope John Paul bowling. His team was PCL Southern division champs in 2010 and reached disrict championships 6 out of 7 years finishing 12th out of 42 in 2010 as well. In high school he played centerfield, first base, and pitcher, and was an all-catholic at quarter back and free safety in addition to being a member of the bowling team. He has also rolled two perfect 300 games. He is intent on making the bowling team as elite and successful as all of the other sports programs at La Salle. NSCA certified trainer, Rod also has 6+ years experience working first hand with St. Joseph’s University track, baseball, basketball, and crew teams as well as with professional athletes including Jameer Nelson, John Christmas, the Philadelphia 76ers, and Orlando Magic.
