The La Salle Competition Band won The Duke Ellington Division with a rating of "Superior with Honors" and was named "Best Trumpet Section" and "Best Sight-Reading Band". Senior Christopher Mele '13 also won an Outstanding Soloist Award.

La Salle Theatre and Band Alumni to Perform "A Night at the Sands" for Charity

"A Night At The Sands... Starring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin" will take place on July 20th at 8:00PM at Lenape Valley Swim Club in Chalfont.

The show stars Dan White '05 as Frank and Michael Dominick '03 as Dean, as well as Jay Colburn '03, Doug Phelan '05, Ryan Colburn '06, and Rick Conicelli '06 in the band.

Tickets are $15, and all proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. For tickets and information they can contact Michael Dominick, the Director, at 215-272-5032.

The event is BYOB and everyone must be 21 years of age or older unless specific permission is granted.

This performance replaces the cancelled "Smokey Joe's Café" charity show.
