In class on Wednesday, November 18th - Dave Wruck from Exposoure Labs - virtually joined Mr. Johnson's Advanced Multimedia Class using Microsoft Teams to discuss the film and the production process for "The Social Dilemma."
Students in our WEXPtv Program's Advanced Multimedia Course recently watched the "The Social Dilemma" as part of the course to prepare them for the creation of Public Service Announcement Videos for the La Salle Community on the dangers of social media, especially involving mental health of teenagers.
The dilemma of social media, according to the film is - "Never before have a handful of tech designers had such control over the way billions of us think, act, and live our lives."

In addition to watching the film, students are producing digital graphics to explain the dangers of social media to the rest of the student body, and also will be creating 60 second Public Service Announcements for the community for WEXPtv. Students will also be interviewing members of La Salle's Counseling Department to talk about Student Mental Health and Social Media.
