Golf Tryouts
August 8-10, 2022

Tryouts for the La Salle College High School Golf Team will be held August 8-10, 2022 (3 – nine hole rounds of golf) according to the following schedule:

Monday, August 8, 2022                               
North Hills Country Club                               
6:00 pm

Tuesday, August 9, 2022               
Whitemarsh Valley Country Club                              
3:00 pm

Wednesday, August 10, 2022      
Blue Bell Country Club   
8:00 am

A verifiable USGA Index/Handicap (GHIN Number) will be required for ALL golfers who wish to try out for the golf team.  Students without an official USGA Index/Handicap or who do not meet the minimum requirements, will not be permitted to tryout for the Golf Team.

All students who wish to tryout for the Golf Team must notify Coach Marty Jackson at JacksonM@lschs.org in advance of tryouts and provide the necessary index/handicap information. Please do not arrive for tryouts without notifying the coaching staff AND providing a verifiable index/handicap. Golfers will play nine holes on each course. Those individuals selected for the team will be notified at the conclusion of tryouts.

INDEX/HANDICAP REQUIREMENTS
Freshmen - 18 or lower
Sophomores - 15 or lower
Juniors - 12 or lower
Seniors - 10 or lower

All golfers must wear a collared shirt and golf shorts/pants. Cargo shorts are not considered proper attire. Golfers not dressed appropriately will not be permitted on the course.  Please plan to arrive at the golf course no more than fifteen minutes prior to the start time. All three tryout locations are private courses; therefore, the driving range will not be available and the Pro Shop and Clubhouse are not open to non-members. Please report directly to the first tee and/or the putting green. Those individuals requiring warm-up or practice prior to tryouts must do so prior to arriving at the designated golf course.
