In celebration of our Lasallian heritage and core values, the week of Monday, April 4th to Friday, April 8th will be our annual FSC Week. As a school community, we will celebrate these values with different activities sponsored by the Ministry and Service Team, the Religion Department, and the Office of Lasallian Mission and Ministry.
Monday, April 4 will focus on the core value of respect for all people. In this light, the student body will recognize our amazing food service and housekeeping staff. Their work, selfless and behind the scenes, has ensured that Lasallian education would be possible during this pandemic.
Tuesday, April 5 will focus on the core value of quality education. The Ministry & Service Team will cook up waffles, bacon, and more for our amazing faculty & staff (location TBA). In addition, there will be communion services at the beginning of each period.
Wednesday, April 6 will focus on the core value of inclusive community. The entire school community is encouraged to show their school spirit by wearing LSCHS gear. In addition, there will be live music during lunch periods.
Thursday, April 7- In honor of de La Salle’s Feast Day, we will focus on the core value of Faith in the Presence of God. There will be a school wide liturgy presided by Fr. Michael Tidd, OSB ‘88. This liturgy will recognize our Lasallian Educator of the Year, Mr. O’Toole.
Friday, April 8 will focus on the core value of concern for the poor & social justice. There will be a special Lenten morning prayer service at 7:40AM focusing on our call to service. In addition, Lasallians from West Catholic and La Salle University will gather on our campus for a leadership conference. In addition, there will be a special La Salle Responds dress down day to benefit Lasallian causes.
