La Salle College High School's Robotics Team 5181 is being recognized this week during National Robotics Week for their efforts to promote student-centered and experiential learning opportunities for La Salle Students, and many local grade school students around the Philadelphia Area.
The many Robotics Teams operating in the La Salle Robotics program are all part of FIRST™, an organization dedicated to inspiring youth through science and technology. FIRST™ teams are divided into three main categories, differing in age and rigor of the competitions they attend - First Lego League (FLL), First Tech Challenge (FTC), First Robotics Challenge (FRC).
